Youth Safety Training 2023

CLASS IS FULL.  Please email woodcityriders(at)gmail.com for wait list spaces.

WCR will be holding a youth safety training on December 16th 2023.  This will consist of a 3 hour classroom session, followed by individual 15 minute on-the-sled testing.

Wood City Riders is pleased to announce we will be offering a Snowmobile Safety Field Day this year.  We are offering our class in the Online/Hybrid model – students take an online course ahead of time, then attend a 3-hour fundamentals class and finally complete a riding performance qualification test.

We are offering the fundamentals class on December 16th at 9am, with the field test being offered in 20 minute slots starting at 130pm later that afternoon.  All students must attend both.  The field test will be scheduled in 20-minute blocks.  Should there be no-snow conditions, the field test will be postponed.  The classroom will be held as scheduled on the 16th.

Students must be 11 years of age as of December 16, 2023 to be eligible to participate.  Since this is a hybrid classroom session, we are asking that a guardian attend with each youth.

The training will be held at the Wood City Riders Snowmobile Club Clubhouse in Cloquet.  Registration is through the following Google Sheet.  This is web based spreadsheet, just fill in your information and it will auto save.
